Impaired Driver Services
We provide DMV and OASAS approved Impaired Driver Services for clients who have experienced an arrest for DWI, DWAI, DWAI drugs, as well as other substance related legal problems. Services offered to those facing charges, in the Impaired Driver Program, and out-of-state offenders.

Impaired Driver Assessment involving a comprehensive, face to face evaluation

Alcohol and drug use screening

Review of Abstract of Driving Record, arrest report and related documents (provided by you or your attorney)

Interviews with collateral contacts

Letter of recommendation, presence & progress

Input into OASAS/DMV Impaired Driver System

Psychoeducation related to impaired driving

We adhere to New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse (OASAS) standards for clinical services for individuals arrested for impaired driving offenses including out of state drivers.

We offer timely, confidential, individualized services, and work closely with referring agencies to ensure the best outcomes

Serving Commercial Drivers and other Employees Regulated by Department of Transportation (DOT)

Substance Abuse Professionals (SAPs) provide services to employees who are regulated by the Department of Transportation (DOT), including truck drivers with Commercial Driver’s Licenses (CDLs), who have violated DOT drug and alcohol regulations (49 CFR Part 40).

Services Provided:

Comprehensive Evaluation: A thorough assessment to determine the severity of the substance use issue.

Recommendations for Treatment: Referral to appropriate treatment programs, counseling, and resources.

Follow-up Services: Continued monitoring and support to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.

Return-to-Duty Process: Assistance with the DOT-required process for drivers to return to their job after a violation.

Entry into Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration (FMCSA) website when necessary
